Subarachnoid hemorrhage can be difficult to diagnose but is important not to miss. We will review the pros and cons of diagnostic tools and review the best strategies to diagnose this disease. Intracerebral hemorrhage is a common problem in the emergency department – we will review the most recent data on how to optimize the outcome for your patients with this devastating disease. Blood pressure management of the 4 most common devastating neurologic crises is acutely important and affects outcome. We will review the best practices for managing blood pressure for subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, acute ischemic stroke and traumatic brain injury.
